Our hand surgeons care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder disorders in patients of all ages, including children. Our hand surgeons conduct ongoing research and routinely publish in medical journals and textbooks. All Hand Surgery Service Physicians are board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and are fellowship-trained in hand surgery, with some additionally trained in shoulder surgery. All physicians also hold Certificates of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery.

Formed in 1952, The CV Starr Hand Surgery Service has one of the oldest teaching hand fellowships in the country. Our goal is to be the finest hand surgery fellowship in the United States; training compassionate, technically masterful, and academically productive hand surgeons who are leaders in the field.
